I am Marjorie Elizabeth Schofield. I was born in New Plymouth, New Zealand. I am a Sun Pisces (the spiritual enlightener), Gemini Rising (the Comunicator) in New Zealand and Scorpio Rising (the Occult Researcher)in Scotland. My Moon is in Taurus(the Earth Mother) and I have 3 planets in Aquarius (the Astrologer). I am fortunate to have parents, grandparents and great grandparents of Scottish Canadian, Scottish, English and Irish descent. I emigrated to Great Britain at the age of 9 and over the following years lived in Hastings, Sussex, Lake, Isle of Wight, Southsea, Hants and Plymouth, Devon.

As a very young girl I had several very vivid spiritual experiences, such as seeing a man I didn't know at the window of the house in New Zealand. My mother realized the description was of her father of whom there were no photos and who had not been spoken of very much at all. He was living in England. Weeks later a letter arrived to inform my mother that her father had passed away at the date when he was seen at the window. Many other similar experiences brought proof that life continues beyond the physical death.

When I was 13 I began reading my mother's magazines and the Astrological Forecasts in them. My attention was drawn to the information concerning gem stones, colours and flowers attributed to each Sun Sign written by Leon and Katrina Petrulengro.

At the age of 16, I found the book ASTROLOGY written by Jeff Mayo D.F.Astrol.S, which I still have and treasure today! This teach yourself book introduced me to what I call "serious astrology". I discovered that charts could be drawn up of people I knew and more excitingly - my own! This individualized horoscopes and set one person apart from another, a step on from Sun Sign Astrology.

Whilst living in Southsea, I met and married a Royal Marine, had a daughter, Sarah and later a son, Paul. We eventually settled down in Arbroath, Angus, Scotland, where I taught Spiritual Development for 30 years.

When I was 25, Bill Coller, M.S.N.U suggested I do a few Astrological charts for people I didn't know. It worked well and Bill encouraged me to become a Professional Astrological Consultant, which I did! In the early 80's Bill and I were involved with a group of astrologers who wrote a magazine called The Scottish Astrologer. I love this work and my many, many thanks go to Bill, wherever he is now!

During the following years I have had my own weekly Sun Sign column in the Perthshire Advertiser and a weekly phone line Astrological Sun Sign Service in the Sunday Post.

In the 90's I studied the Know Yourself Though Colour Foundation with Marie Louise Lacy and Betty Fotheringham aquireing the initials M.I.A.C.T. after my name.

My husband moved of this earth plane in 1996. We were fortunate to have had 28 years of marriage. The inevitable seperation of loved ones is one of the biggest initiations a human being can go through. The spiritual knowledge I was given and the philosophy I live by held me in good stead. I came through a lot easier than I might have without the understanding!!!

I enjoy gardening and one day while I was on a beach I had a vision of the stones I found there being used for an astrological herb garden. I took 112 of them home and made the garden which gave me great pleasure for many years.

Astrology, Spirituality and Colour are all part of the same wonderful vibration we all live within. Used together positively they are wonderful tools Self Enlightenment and Self Empowerment!!!
